DATES
We meet 7 times a year. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the months of October to April and normally start at 6.30pm.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A MEETING?
Our meetings typically involve two elements, masonic ritual which symbolises the progress of an operative mason from an apprentice to a master mason and lodge administration, typical of what you find in all members organisation.
DINNER
Post meeting we dine in the Masonic Hall. Whilst there is no compulsion to attend the dinner, it is the most social aspect of our meetings and is where we really get to know each other. Consisting of two courses, meals cost about £14.00. Dinner is normally concluded by 10.00pm.
LODGE OF INSTRUCTION
Members of the lodge meet informally between meetings to learn more about freemasonry and to practice their ritual, which although based on one of the published forms of ritual (Emulation), has a number of aspects unique to the Taunton Deane Lodge. Our Instruction meetings are held in the Masonic Hall.
VISITORS
